🎭 CATEGORY 1: REALITY CHECK (Not On Purpose Bad)

This category is for real self-tapes from 2025 that you honestly tried your best on — but they just didn’t work the way you hoped.

Requirements:

Must be a real 2025 audition self-tape

Not staged, not exaggerated, not intentionally bad

Something that missed the mark due to acting choices or technical issues

Examples:

Flat or unclear emotions

Rushed pacing

Weak listening

Bad framing, lighting, or sound

Distracting background or reader

This category is all about learning from real auditions

CATEGORY 2: INTENTIONALLY BAD SELF-TAPE (On Purpose!)

This category is for actors who want to have fun and intentionally show what NOT to do in a self-tape.

Requirements:

Can be created specifically for this contest

Acting or technical choices should be clearly exaggerated or incorrect

Must show at least 2–3 common self-tape mistakes

Examples:

Overacting or fake emotions

Staring into the camera

Terrible framing or weird angles

Distracting background or noise

No listening or reacting

⚠️ Even though it’s on purpose, content must stay:

Appropriate

Respectful

Safe and age-appropriate

No offensive or unsafe content allowed..

🎭 WHO CAN ENTER

Youth Age 7- Adults

Parent/guardian approval required if under 18

Open to actors of all experience levels

📹 VIDEO RULES

Length: 60–90 seconds

Self Tapes May Be Filmed Horizontal Or Vertical

No filters, music, or heavy editing.
